On the behalf of the Florida Caribbean
Students Association executive board, member organizations
and their members, we extend our gratitude to the University
of Central Florida, conference planning committee and the
Golden Knight Caribbean Students Association. for hosting
the FCSA 33rd Bi- Annual Conference One Caribbean:
Shattering the barriers, bigger and better in '07.
The hard work that the 100 plus persons put into making this
conference a resounding success shows the dedication and
commitment to the cause of furthering the goals of the FCSA
and the Caribbean.
To our Sponsors. Thank you. Your support and contributions
went a long way in making this event possible and achieving
the level of excellence that it did.
Last but not least to you the attendees. Thank you. We hope
you took away from this conference, an invigorated spirit, a
drive to make a difference, to be active and relevant in the
Caribbean and global community. I also hope that you realize
the potential that you have to make a difference, and the
support available throughout the state of Florida. To
reiterate, this was all for YOU.
To everyone, Thank You for working with us and we hope to
see an ongoing tireless effort in the advancement of the
aims of our organization.
The previous generation of leaders who migrated to Europe
would have met in a forums similar to your CSA's and FCSA.
Those persons returned to the region with networks already
established and formed the Federation which sought to unite
the region more closely as one. This endeavor subsequently
failed for various reasons. Today, this generation is poised
to take hold as the region attempts to reunite. This is your
strength, this is the difference you can make, this is FCSA
We have Shattered the Barriers in '07 now let us "Bridge the
Gap" at FIU in 2008.
